Can you put NVMe in Sata?

Furthermore, is NVMe worth it over Sata?
NVME drives are faster than SATA drives, but nothing like the difference from going from a HDD to a SSD. Your system may boot up a couple of seconds faster with a NVMe drive. If you are moving large files you will feel a difference. But for the most part for general computer uses, I cant tell much of a difference.
Similarly, can you connect an M 2 NVMe to an M 2 SATA port? As people already know they are physically compatible, you can plug an M. 2 SATA (aka M+B key) into an M. 2 NVMe (M key).
Correspondingly, can you use NVMe as boot drive?
So the best option is to use it as a boot drive. It's not as fast as a lot of the NVMe drives on the market, but will benefit you in boot speeds and speed up OS installation. The secondary storage will only be about as good as any other SATA SSD.
Which is faster NVMe or M 2?
An M. 2 drive is not faster just because of its form factor. It's just usually the case that M. 2 drives use the NVMe protocol because they already connect via PCI-E anyway.
